With Thanksgiving Day coming up, in this blog post Iโm going to present her poem โThanksgivingโ, found in the 1903 edition of Poems of Power. It cautions against taking things for granted and urges readers to appreciate the simple joys of life.
I first learned about the Greek poet Napoleon Lapathiotis (ฮฮฑฯฮฟฮปฮญฮฟฮฝฯฮฑฯ ฮฮฑฯฮฑฮธฮนฯฯฮทฯ) from the 1985 film "Meteor and Shadow" (ฮฮตฯฮญฯฯฮฟ ฮบฮฑฮน ฮฃฮบฮนฮฌ), starring the wonderful Greek actor Takis Moshos (ฮคฮฌฮบฮทฯ ฮฯฯฯฮฟฯ). The biopic, which was based on authentic documents and excerpts from Lapathiotis' writings, made me want to find out more about this controversial poet. A …
