The topic of this post are weather idioms, i.e. idioms with meteorological terms as key words. As youโll see, they are all used metaphorically to describe human moods and experiences; some may be rather logical, others not so!

Grammar dilemmas: “until” or “by”?
"By" and "until" both seem to refer to the same thing โ a point up to which something lasts or when an action ends. Be careful, though: while similar, in English they are definitely not the same!ย
