Regardless of whether you believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life, aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) or not, you have to admit itโs a fascinating subject. It has an equally fascinating history, too. The obsession with UFOs, in particular, was a remarkable aspect of popular culture during the Cold War. It amplified fears of an all-out nuclear conflagration, government conspiracies, and a host of other social issues reflected in the narratives of UFO visitations and alien abductions.
Whether itโs a myth, legend or a fact, the existence of little green men (or are they grey?) and the UFOs continues to capture our imagination and makes us question things. In this post Iโll present a couple of UFO-related podcasts that I’ve been enjoying lately. You might want to explore them to learn more about the past and present of ufology and related fields.
UFO – Fact, Fiction, or Fantasy

This three-part radio series from the BBC World Service is a great introduction to the topic. Part 1, Sightings and Soundings, discusses Britain’s most famous UFO sighting event, the ‘Randlesham Forest incident’ of 1980. Part 2, The Abduction Phenomenon, delves into the controversial subject of alien abductions, while in part 3, Do We Have Contact, we get a chance to hear a number of participants of the UFO World Congress that took place in Dusseldorf, Germany, in the 1990s. Each episode lasts 30 minutes, and you can access them all via the BBC Sounds platform.
The Alien UFO Podcast

Hosted by Simon Brown, this weekly podcast series consists of interviews with the leading figures of contemporary UFO research, often authors of recently published books on the subject. Each episode is about an hour long and you can access it on Deezer or your podcast client of choice.
Mysterious Radio

Co-created and hosted by K-Town, Mysterious Radio covers more than just extraterrestrials: there are episodes on haunted houses, time travel, near-death experiences and more. The series is a veritable smorgasbord of the paranormal. You can find all the episodes on the Mysterious Radio website, as well as in most podcast directories.
Podcast UFO

Containing over 500 episodes, Podcast UFO includes interviews with UFO researchers, witnesses and whistleblowers. Hosted by Martin Willis, the video recordings of the podcast are available on YouTube, along with extra content not included in the audio podcast feed.
UFO Chronicles

This series contains uninterrupted first-hand accounts of unexplained phenomena, mainly connected with alien encounters, but also with alleged demonic possession, precognition, and hauntings. The podcast is hosted by Nik Hunter, and you can access all available episodesโcurrently in their fifth seasonโon the official UFO Chronicles website and in most podcast clients.
